Marvel are at it again! However, this time they’re taking a break from the silver-screen and shifting their focus to television (or perhaps laptopvision).

That’s right, Marvel has teamed up with Netflix to create a series of superhero television shows, and the next instalment has just been teased. Any guesses? Yep, none of you were right: it’s Iron Fist.

Iron Fist may be one of the lesser known superheroes, but he has a sweet origins story steeped in ancient Asian mysticism, martial arts, dragons and green and gold spangly outfits (definitely a Wallabies supporter).

So where does this leave us? It seem Marvel are creating two Universes, one that exists on the tele and another that exists in the cinemas.

Considering Marvel are putting a lot of money behind these shows, it’s always curious to think why they aren’t going with more household names. I mean let’s be real here, Iron Fist isn’t exactly a household name…

I won’t give any more of the plot away but the Netflix original is set to drop March 17, 2017, and stars Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones in the leading role.

Get excited everyone, I know I am!
