After a ton of speculation, it’s finally been revealed that Carnage will feature as the villain in the upcoming Venom movie.

While the new Venom movie starring Tom Hardy isn’t set for release till the 5th of October 2018, we can now start to see the bigger picture. It’s looking pretty unlikely that Spiderman will play the main ‘villain’ as Carnage has now filled in that role. But that doesn’t mean that he can’t still feature in the new Venom movie.

To be honest, i’m glad that Spiderman isn’t going to steal the show in this film because, after all, it is meant to be a solo Venom movie. Let’s give the terrifying symbiote some love and attention coz i reckon he’s been seriously under appreciated in most of the spiderman movies. Venom is such an interesting multifaceted character that’s it’s about time he got he’s own solo movie.

But, it’s still pretty likely that Spiderman will appear in the new Venom movie, at least for a bit. It’s hard to picture a Venom movie where spiderman doesn’t exist.

Tom Holland has been officially signed on for a sequel to Spiderman: Homecoming and even a third instalment to the franchise but that doesn’t mean he can’t make appearances elsewhere in the marvel movie universe.

So that means Carnage will face off against Tom Hardy’s Venom in the new Venom movie!

In the marvel world of comics, Carnage is also a symbiote but way more evil and powerful than the Venom symbiote. Instead of bonding with a douchebag named Eddie Brock, Carnage bonds with a total psycho killer named Cletus Kasady. So far, we don’t know who’s gonna play Carnage.

Unlike Venom, Carnage doesn’t just bond with his host, but completely takes them over and is nearly impossible to separate from the host. Carnage is such a strong villain that it’s hard to see how Venom stands a chance.

I’m honestly really interested to see how the director is going to match up Venom and Carnage. Man, this movie just keeps sounding better and better.

What to you all think about Carnage being the main villain in the new Venom Movie? Do you reckon Venom or even spiderman stand a chance?

I reckon they’ll need to team up to take Carnage down.
