GIQUE

Producing and submitting video content

GIQUE's role is to entertain and/or inform. If we're entertaining, we're not taking ourselves too seriously. If we're informing we do our best to be as accurate as we can, throwing in a bit of humour where possible. Whilst we have our staff team of presenters, we also have a community team of FanFilmers (potentially you), who can submit content to GIQUE and become a supporting, and paid video producer at GIQUE.

Write for a Gaming Magazine

First things first. capture resolution.

All of our footage is shot in 1080p, but if you're using a PC or a Mac, and shooting video-game footage run the video with 1280x720 or 1920x1080 resolution.

GIQUE Assets

As a FanFilmer, you'll need to do the basics, and "attempt' to make this the worlds best content piece, and keeping things consistent with the GIQUE brand. That means using the same creative assets that we have on file, and not going rogue and designing your own. You can find any assets you may need here. This includes intro and outros, lower third name cards, fonts, transitions and title bars.

Your steps to creating fanfilmer content

Select a Playlist

We have 10 playlists to choose from. You can pick any of them to produce content, and they are all structured in a similar way, but each playlist has a different purpose.

Create your video

Review the example playlists above, select your playlist of choice, and create your own video based on the format. Next up, adding in your intro.

Become a FanWriter

Adding in the GIQUE Intro.

Adding in the GIQUE intro is simple. You can follow the instructions on the left. Download the intro video from here, and insert into your premiere pro project bar, above the video, most often in the video 2 slot. You should be able to ensure there is a transparent section at the start and the end of the intro. You should aim for the intro to intersect your video around the 5-10s mark, so be sure to leave a spot for it in your edit.

Adding in the Third level nametag.

Because saying your name at the start of every video can be tedious, it's better to have a third level nametag that does this for you. You can download it here, and should aim to insert it straight after the intro. Be sure to put "GIQUE fanFilmer" as your title underneath your name.

Submitting your content

Once you've completed your edit, you can submit your content here for our review. If approved, we will publish the content across our social media channels.
